4U Ranch is a purpose-built wedding venue just outside Park City, set on 75 acres along the Weber River. A former event planner designed it, from the timber-frame barn to the riverside ceremony lawn, so the flow between one part of the day and the next was settled before anyone set out a chair.
Ceremonies happen down on the riverbank, in a grove of big trees with mountains behind the aisle and a red rock face across the valley. Receptions go into the barn or out onto the lawn.

Ceremony Sites at 4U Ranch
Ceremonies happen on the bank of the Weber River with a mountain backdrop behind them. More specifically, the site is tucked into a grove of large trees along the water, with a red rock face visible across the valley.
There’s also a separate meadow, open field with Wasatch Mountain views, used for ceremonies, cocktails or outdoor dining with a 360-degree view.
Reception Spaces at 4U Ranch
Receptions are either inside the timber-frame barn or out on the lawn. The barn has high vaulted ceilings, white wooden beams, warm lighting, a built-in bar and a stage. It’s a modern build with a skylight and glass doors.
The rental has included stage lighting, uplights and downlights, a polished-concrete dance floor and a power system.
There’s a covered patio and lawn space as well, for outdoor reception seating.
Getting Ready, Lodging & Guest Logistics
There’s a dedicated green room for the wedding party and a lounge furnished with rugs and pillows. A vintage 1954 Chevy pickup is part of the décor, and couples have had access to the full property the day before the wedding, which is worth asking about early if you want a rehearsal on site.
There’s no lodging on the property. Black Rock Mountain Resort is the closest option, roughly 10 to 15 minutes away, with more hotels around Park City and the Heber and Midway area about 30 minutes out.
Parking is on site and free.
4U Ranch is about 20 minutes from Park City’s Main Street. The drive from Salt Lake City International Airport runs roughly 55 minutes.
Catering & Vendors at 4U Ranch
Catering and bar service both come from 4U Ranch’s preferred vendor list, and there’s no in-house catering or bar. Top Shelf Professional Bar Services is the exclusive bar vendor.
Seven caterers sit on the approved list. The rest of the list runs across florals, photography, videography, entertainment, AV, event planning, cakes, rentals, DJs, hair and makeup, transportation, lighting and officiants.
Your planner comes off that list too, since 4U Ranch doesn’t provide day-of coordination beyond the owner’s help.
4U Ranch takes one wedding per weekend.

What to Know Before You Book 4U Ranch
4U Ranch belongs in the same conversation as River Bottoms Ranch and High West Distillery: Park City tangential venues, close enough to the town guests have heard of, far enough out that the setting is fields and a river instead of a parking structure.
What makes it stand out is who built it. It has the charm of a barn, and it was purpose-built by a wedding planner, a combination not many venues get to have both ways. Someone who had already run a few hundred weddings decided where the getting-ready room sits relative to the aisle, and where the power runs for the band.
Those are the details that decide whether a wedding day runs smoothly or drags, and they rarely come up on a tour.
