Amangiri translates to peaceful mountain, and you will find plenty of peace and mountains here. Located 25 minutes from the nearest airport and more than two hours from the closest city this resort was built to take people away from it all and take them to be surrounded a place by the glories of the desert, while still having all the amenities of a luxury resort. You will feel pampered while you are there.
The best months to host a wedding at Amangiri are in early fall and late spring.
Wedding Ceremony Sites
Amangiri doesn’t have set ceremony sites, but they do have lots of options. You can take a helicopter to a secluded mesa to say your vows or wed in front of guests in a beautiful natural rock amphitheater, or a bluff overlooking Lake Powell. Wherever you choose to wed it will be a breathtaking desert experience.
Wedding Reception Sites
There are several reception sites available at Amangiri.
- Raven’s Nest is hidden on the desert floor but still has amazing views of the surroundings and is perfect for an intimate dinner.
- The Chinle site is a short drive from the property and is a perfect place for a barbecue with Navajo storytelling.
- The amphitheater, and fireside pavilion are lovely spaces perfect for cocktails between the ceremony and reception.
Bridal Suite/ Getting Ready Rooms
You have to book multiple nights at Amangiri to hold an event there, and your room will be well-appointed for wedding preparations.

What are the catering options?
All food and drink are done by Amangiri. They pride themselves on locally sourced foods.
What are the included decor options and restrictions?
You really don’t need a lot of decor at Amangiri. The desert is your backdrop, and the resort is beautifully appointed. However, they can provide a list of vendors familiar with the site.
Be aware that any vendors hired, from florists to DJs will have to make a substantial trip to get to the site.
What are the lodging (on-site or nearby) options?
All guests must stay at Amangiri. Rooms start at $3,500 a night depending on the time of year. For a full resort buyout, a minimum of three nights is required.
What are the check-in/check-out times for guests staying overnight?
All check-in and out times are arranged by the resort depending on flights at the Page, Arizona airport as all airport transfers are included in the room rates.

What are some nearby attractions?
Amangiri is the main attraction here. They provide daily fitness classes and guided hikes. There also is a full spa and lovely swimming areas. If you want to leave the grounds you could visit Lake Powell or hike to nearby Skyline Arch.
