Sometimes trail runs turn into the best location scouting. While on a long jog around the Hinesburg Forest, I chanced upon an old Sugar Shack, which turned out to be a remarkable backdrop for Jillian and Ethan’s engagement session. I mean, they both showed up wearing plaid—and complementary colors no less! What a perfect way to go about this Vermont autumn engagement session!
I’m often asked for non-posing engagement and formal photos. What better way than to take the second part of the session to the bar? The bartender was even nice enough to hold a light for me for a few frames.
