Deer Valley Resort weddings are a perfect mix of classic elegance and rustic nature. With various venues to choose from throughout the resort, couples can pick their favorite luxe lodge or quaint cabin for a customized celebration. The resort is a full service venue as well, keeping all details in-house and simple for the bride and groom. If you’re looking an adventurous location without sacrificing elegance or tradition, Deer Valley Resort is a perfect place to say “I do”.

Deer Valley Resort is nestled in Park City with the stunning Wasatch Mountains surrounding each of the lodges. The activities and scenery throughout the resort are virtually endless, allowing guests to fully unwind from the outside world and enjoy the mountain lifestyle.

Deer Valley Resort Wedding Info

Deer Valley Resort hosts weddings year round with four unique venues available. Each venue offers both indoor and outdoor spaces, maximizing flow and allowing guests to admire the surrounding views.


Snow Park Lodge sits at the base of Deer Valley Resort and offers a total of 15,000 SF with seven inviting meeting and banquet rooms.

Silver Lake Lodge sits mid-mountain (at an elevation of 8,100 feet) and offers a total of 15,000 SF with ten various banquet rooms.

Empire Canyon Lodge lies at the base of the Daly Chutes (with an elevation of 8,300 feet) and offers five distinctive rooms totalling over 7,000 SF.

Cushing’s Cabin is Deer Valley’s most remote venue, located atop Flagstaff Mountain at 9,100 feet and accessed only by shuttle or chairlift.


Snow Park Lodge can host up to 220 guests.

Silver Lake Lodge and Empire Canyon Lodge both have a maximum capacity of 300 guests and minimum capacity of 100 guests.

Cushing’s Cabin has a capacity of 65 people.


The individual venues are scattered throughout the resort, but all roughly an hour from the Salt Lake City International Airport. Parking is plentiful at all the venues except for the Empire Canyon Lodge, where valet or shuttles are often required.

Weddings per Day

Deer Valley Resort will host one wedding per day at each of their venues.

Time and Noise Restrictions

Ceremonies can not begin before 5:30 p.m. during the summer (mid-June through mid-September) and 6:30 p.m. during the ski season (December through April).


All venues except Cushing’s Cabin are wheelchair accessible.

Pet Policy

Pets are allowed for outdoor ceremonies and cocktail hours, but not for receptions or any festivities within the building.

Nearby Attractions

Deer Valley Resort has it all: hiking, fishing, biking, boating, golf, tennis, hot air ballooning, mountain biking, chairlift rides, exploring historic main street and summer concerts. In the winter, guests enjoy skiing, snowshoeing, and the Sundance Film Festival.

Deer Valley Resort Wedding Cost

Deer Valley Resort offers two wedding packages, the Classic and the Signature. Both packages include an on-site event planner, complimentary ceremony rehearsal, exclusive use of the reserved lodge and grounds, round tables and leather chairs, linens and all dish and glasswares.

The Classic Package ranges from $140 per person (Monday – Thursday) to $150 per person (Friday – Sunday).

The Signature Package ranges from $160 per person (Monday – Thursday) to $170 per person (Friday – Sunday).

If booked with a wedding, rehearsal dinners and brunches are offered additionally discounted rental costs.

Wedding Catering and Lodging 

Deer Valley Resort offers to take care of every detail, allowing bride, groom and their guests to simply enjoy the experience.

Catering Options

Deer Valley Resort is a full service venue, providing the catering and bartending for all events.

They offer pre-set menus for clients to work off of for buffet, station and plated dinners and are happy to further customize.

The bakery provides wedding cakes with a wide variety of fillings and designs (and samples provided). Couples may hire an outside vendor for their cake, but will incur an additional service charge.

Lodging (On-site or Nearby)

There are many hotels, condominiums, and vacation home rentals available at Deer Valley Resort.

Weddings guests receive 25% off lodging.

Booking Bonuses

Deer Valley Resort is unique on every level. Couples and their guests can take advantage of the amenities and activities offered before and after the big day.

The newlyweds and their guests all receive discounted rates for special activities around the resort. Activities include:

Private one hour chairlift ride on Sterling Express (Silver Lake) or Ruby Express (Empire), $8 per person

Lawn game activities (choice of four games), $1 per person

S’mores dessert station or Fireside fondue station (Empire), $16 per person

Fireside raclette station (Empire), $20 per person

Rustic stone/propane fire pits, $6 per person

Horse drawn sleigh rides (winter season), $7 per person

Valet parking, $150 per hour (required at Empire Canyon Lodge)

In-house Wedding Planner and Day-of Coordinator

Deer Valley has an on-site event planner and three coordinators. Couples are free to hire their own wedding planner if they wish, but the resort will manage everything otherwise.
