Community was the cornerstone to Crystal & Trever’s wedding, set on the Pacific Ocean at Camp Ocean Pines. Deep friendships and family from all over the country came to this destination wedding to celebrate the adventurous love these two have forged.
I can’t think of other more hilarious toasts (and many of them) to really show the love and care this community had for the two newlyweds. And the dancing, boy, oh boy, the dancing. Crystal & Trever have long thrown amazingly themed dance parties throughout their courtship, so the floor got hot pretty quick with the guests at the end of the night.
The oceanside light is something of dreams. Golden and hazy and enrapturing. I really enjoyed stealing the couple away throughout the day for portraits to take advantage of the changing light and nearby scenery. It’s my go-to approach for any wedding so as to not keep the wedding couple away from their elaborately planned party.
Camp Ocean Pines was a unique venue, which was more of a summer camp (think Wet Hot American Summer) than a wedding venue, which gave it mega charm. Many of the guests even stayed in cabins with bunk beds on the grounds and enjoyed a weekend of love.
