Homestead Resort is recently refurbished and ready to welcome guests into an amazing farm-like setting. Located towards the east end of the Heber Valley the Homestead has rolling lawns and beautiful terraces along the banks of two lakes on the property. The resort also features a large golf course, several restaurants, and swimming and diving in the “crater,” the property’s hot spring.
The best months to host a wedding at Homestead Resort are April through October.
Wedding Ceremony Sites
There are several outdoor ceremony sites available at Homestead Resort. You can say your vows in a quaint gazebo or on a grand lawn by the lake. If you are feeling adventurous you could hold your ceremony on a wrought iron bridge on top of the crater looking down into the hot spring below. In winter months ceremonies can take place under a lovely tent on the patio.
Wedding Reception Site
Receptions at Homestead are held in the Garden room and patio which can accommodate cocktail receptions, sit-down dinners, and dancing. There are sweeping views of the Heber Valley and the Uintah Mountains beyond them.
Bridal Suite/ Getting Ready Rooms
Rooms are available for members of the wedding party to prepare prior to the ceremony. Couples are also given a complimentary room in the hotel.

Homestead Resort offers an “all in one” experience for you and your guests. The lodging on the grounds allows you to spend time together and still gives you all personal space. There also are multiple activities to please an entire range of personalities and needs.
Couples holding their weddings at the Homestead Resort are given two complimentary nights in a honeymoon suite and use of the grounds for engagement and bridal photos.

Homestead Resort Wedding Cost
Wedding and reception packages start at $7,500. This includes the ceremony and reception spaces, a wooden dance floor, table settings and linens, tables for the cake, guest book, and gifts, as well as the bar set up and bartender. Food and beverages are an additional charge and a minimum spend of $10,000 is required.

What are the catering options?
The Homestead Resort is a full-service venue offering in-house catering. They pride themselves on classic American fare made with locally sourced ingredients. Their salads are especially amazing.
As part of the wedding package, the couple is offered menu tastings with the chef.
What are the included decor options and restrictions?
All couples must approve any decor being brought in with the Homestead event staff.
What are the lodging (on-site or nearby) options?
The Homestead Resort offers many lodging options from individual guest rooms, to suites, to condos that can house entire families. All rooms have outdoor spaces such as patios or balconies.
There are also several other hotels close to the resort including Zermatt Utah Resort and Spa, The Invited Inn Bed and Breakfast, and Worldmark Midway.
What are the check-in/check-out times for guests staying overnight?
Check-in time is 4 PM and check-out time is 11 AM.
