The Hyatt Centric is part of Canyons Village, which was modeled after Park City’s classic mining village architecture style. It is a grand resort filled with all of the modern amenities you could want or need, nestled at the base of towering mountains and looking out across a stunning valley.
The best months to host a wedding at focus May to November. They can host weddings during the winter, but it is harder to reserve space.
Wedding Ceremony Sites
The Hyatt Centric offers multiple ceremony spaces both indoors and out.
- White Pine Patio A beautiful grass lawn courtyard with rock details facing the mountain.
- White Pine Rotunda A large space with a chapel-like feel and seating on three sides of the couple during the ceremony and soaring windows that bring the outside in.
- Ballrooms There are numerous ballrooms of varying size with soaring ceilings, fireplaces, and elegant lighting perfect to set the mood.
Wedding Reception Site
Receptions are held in one of the many ballrooms on site, all with broad windows to bring the outside in and allow your guests to enjoy the view. The Zion ballroom also accesses the courtyard.
All reception spaces can host cocktail hours, buffets, and sit-down dinners. The larger ballrooms can also accommodate dance floors.
Bridal Suite/ Getting Ready Rooms
Couples who hold their weddings at the Hyatt Centric are given a complimentary suite for the day of their event. The suite includes a kitchen, laundry, king-size bed, and jetted tub. Plenty of room and light to prepare for the big day.
Other unique amenities
The Hyatt Centric offers almost all wedding services (not photographers!) in one spot. You don’t have to worry about contacting various vendors because Hyatt has florists, wedding planners, and caterers all covered in one location.
In addition, couples can earn Hyatt vacation points towards their honeymoon with every dollar they spend on their wedding.
What is the capacity?
Depending on the chosen venue the Hyatt Centric can accommodate between 40 to 250 people.
Where is the location?
The Hyatt Centric is located midway between Kimball Junction and Park City, roughly 45 minutes from the Salt Lake International Airport. It is built on the grounds of one of Utah’s original ski resorts, and that fact is reflected in the architecture and the grounds.
How many weddings are hosted on-site each day?
One wedding is held each day at the Hyatt Centric.
Are there any time or noise restrictions?
The Canyons has quiet hours starting at 10 pm. Exceptions can be made though depending on the circumstances and time of year.
Is this venue ADA-accessible?
This venue is ADA-accesible.
What is the pet policy?
Hyatt Centric is a pet-friendly hotel and will allow your pet to be a part of the ceremony just like they are a part of the family.
You may bring one dog weighing up to 50 pounds, or two dogs weighing up to a combined 75 pounds. If traveling with pets or including them in your celebration, please give the resort advanced notice.

Wedding Catering and Lodging
What are the catering options?
Hyatt Centric provides in-house catering via Escala Provisions Company. They will craft a fully customized menu for you and your guests. Oh, and ask them about their burgers. They are famous for them.
What are the included decor options and restrictions?
It is best to contact the venue as restricted items change depending on the season and conditions on the mountain.
What are the lodging (on-site or nearby) options?
There are 103 various guest rooms available at the Hyatt Centric ranging from single rooms to large guest suites and residences. They allow couples to reserve blocks of rooms and have special rates for guests.
Beyond the Hyatt Centric, there are multiple hotels within the vicinity including the Grand Summit Hotel and Sundial Lodge at the Canyons, the Waldorf Astoria, and the Pendry Park City.
What are the check-in/check-out times for guests staying overnight?
For guests staying at the Hyatt Centric the check-in time is 4 pm and check-out is at 11 am.
Is there an in-house wedding planner or day-of coordinator?
Hyatt Centric Park City provides a catering manager to coordinate room set details, menu, and logistics of the culinary experience.
A professional event planner is available, but not included in the base price. Couples are also welcome to hire an outside wedding planner.
What are some nearby attractions?
There is a lot to do at the Canyons, including skiing right outside your door during the winter months. There are also terrain parks for snowboarders and freeskiers. In the summer months, there are miles of hiking and mountain bike trails available, as well as multiple golf courses.
In addition, the Park City Mountain resort is just minutes away and in the summer months offers mountain coasters, rock climbing, zip-lining, and alpine slides.

Hyatt Centric Park City is a beautiful venue with lots of options for couples. You can get ready in your own space and not feel rushed or cramped.
