**We asked the couple to share some memories from their beautiful wedding day.
Why did you decide to get married at Kimball Terrace?
We both fell in love with Park City skiing! We come every winter and find Park City to be so magical. It was obvious to us to bring our guests out to experience spring skiing at Park City and Deer Valley.
What was your favorite moment of your Kimball Terrace wedding in winter?
Our skiing engagement photoshoot kicked things into wedding week mode for us! We loved skiing in our dress and tux combo; it was very James Bond, so we felt way too cool. We skied into our welcome dinner which was so fun and unique!
Describe the overall mood or theme (ex: classic, color palette, modern, boho)
What were the highlights of your ceremony?
The backdrop of miner homes in Park City, beautiful sunshine, and snow everywhere!
What were the highlights of your reception at your Kimball Terrace Wedding in Winter?
Champagne Tower, Disco Ball Entrance, and our grand exit onto Main St!
Were any ethnic, religious, cultural, or family traditions included in your day?
We decided to do a “Ring Warming Ceremony.” We passed our rings around to family to warm them with loving prayers before we put them on forever.
Any planning or wedding-day advice for future couples?
Create a slide deck for your wedding party to keep everyone informed, and you don’t have to repeat yourself!
How was the overall experience of your planning? Also, the highs and lows?
We were engaged for a year. When we were engaged, we booked our venue, chose our date, and signed up for a wedding planner. Then there was a lull period where nothing really happened, but then suddenly, things picked back up around four months out, and it was a blast planning our vision.

“Austen captured three days of our wedding weekend, and it was money well spent. Austen made sure all of the shots we wanted were captured AND went above and beyond to get the shots he knew would be amazing. We did a ski photo shoot with him one day, and it was honestly the best experience we have ever had!! Austen strapped on his skis AND got AMAZING shots. I highly recommend Austen and would not consider a different photographer. DON’T miss out on the moments Austen knows how to capture.” -Maria
Maria and Jared’s Kimball Terrace wedding in winter was about their love for each other, and their love of Park City. The unique elements, from their ski-in photo shoot to the ring-warming ceremony, made their wedding truly one-of-a-kind. Congratulations to the happy couple on a memorable and joyous celebration.
