Lazalu is a unique and secluded wedding venue in the southern Utah town of Virgin right outside of Zion National Park. It is surrounded by red rock and scrub oak trees. There are several lodging options on the site, including one house that sleeps six, and one perfect suite for the couple both before and after their celebration.

Lazalu Wedding Info
Lazalu bills itself as “hard to find, and harder to forget.” It’s an apt description for a charming lodge owned by two artists who love the desert and have done all they can to highlight the area’s outdoor beauty on their property. The buildings themselves are almost hidden in the landscape, and the rooms all have large windows to bring the outdoors in.
Lazalu hosts weddings year-round.
Wedding Ceremony Sites
Lazalu is an outdoor wedding venue with two primary ceremony sites. The first is in a grove of lovely scrub oak trees with a view of a beautiful sandstone rock formation in the distance. The second is in an open field with a large sandstone cliff front in the distance. Both are stunning vistas that will take your breath away.
Wedding Reception Site
The reception space is also outdoors and in a large courtyard off of the main house. You and your guests can enjoy cocktails in the yard following your ceremony and then dine in the shade of scrub oak trees before dancing under the stars on a dance floor set up on the grounds.
Bridal Suite/ Getting Ready Rooms
There are two large suites at Lazalu that must be rented as part of the venue contract. Either would be perfect for getting ready. The Adobe Suite has a full bathroom, queen bed, sitting area, and large windows overlooking Zion National Park. The Zion suite sleeps six, has a large oval soaking tub, a large kitchen area, and an outdoor patio.
Other unique amenities
Solitude is the key at Lazalu. While you are not far from the city of St. George and Zion National Park it will feel like you and your guests are alone in the desert landscape.

Lazalu can accommodate up to 100 guests for a ceremony and reception.

Lazalu is located ten minutes outside of Zion National Park and approximately six hours from Salt Lake International Airport.

One wedding is hosted on-site each day.
Are there any time or noise restrictions?
Please check with the venue. While Lazalu is off the grid and not close to any neighbors the owner does live on-site.
Is this venue ADA-accessible?
There are some challenges for those with mobility issues. Please contact the venue.
What is the pet policy?
No pets are allowed.
Lazalu Wedding Cost
Lazalu requires a two-night minimum of both the Adobe and Zion suites which starts at $1,200 a night for both. In addition, there are venue fees which start at $3,000 and increase depending on the number of guests.

You are welcome to use the caterer of your choice.
What are the included decor options and restrictions?
Most everything will need to be brought in for your wedding. Lazalu works with Forevermore Events for wedding planning, which partners with St. George Rentals to provide chairs, tables, dance floors, and other items.
What are the lodging (on-site or nearby) options?
Lazalu has several rooms but only sleeps about 10 in total. Luckily, there are several lodging options in nearby Hurricane and St. George.
What are the check-in/check-out times for guests staying overnight?
Check-in is at 4 PM and check-out is at 10 AM.
Is there an in-house wedding planner or day-of coordinator?
Lazalu works with Forevermore Events to plan and execute weddings on the grounds.
What are some nearby attractions?
Zion National Park is ten minutes from Lazalu. There is also Kolob Reservoir, Toquerville Falls, and the town of Springdale with shops and art galleries.
