Loveland Living Planet Aquarium is home to sharks, rays, thousands of fish, otters, penguins, and many, many other creatures. It also hosts weddings for couples that have always wanted to go under the sea. This venue features several spaces for ceremonies and receptions, as well as opportunities for photos that won’t happen anywhere else.

Wedding Ceremony Sites
There are multiple spaces for your ceremony at Loveland Living Planet Aquarium. The most popular indoor ceremony site is in the Oceans ballroom, where you can wed in front of a window looking into the 300,000-gallon shark tank. You never know what surprise guests might decide to attend.
Other indoor options include on the massive ship in the lobby, in front of one of the many animal exhibits, or, for an elopement or smaller wedding, in the underwater tunnel surrounded by sea creatures on all sides.
The outdoor venue is the EECO. Once used as a touring stage for the band U2 this massive structure puts on mesmerizing light shows. There are also multiple laws and grottos.
Wedding Reception Site
Your reception will take place not only in the event space of your choice but also in the aquarium itself. Guests can wander and see otters, rays, jellyfish, penguins, and more before sitting down to dinner and celebrating the happy couple.

Venue rental fees depend on the day of the week and time of day. You can rent a space from either 9 AM to 3 PM or 6 PM to 10 PM. Rental fees range from $675 to $11,000.
Food and beverage minimums also apply and range from $1,500 to $15,000.

Icon Culinary is the exclusive caterer for Loveland Living Planet Aquarium. They do specially themed menus for the venue that include salmon and shrimp.
What are the included decor options and restrictions?
Tables and chairs are part of the rental fee, as are linens and centerpieces with an aquatic flair. All Out Events is the decor company recommended by the aquarium. If you want to work with another vendor you must clear it with the events staff first.
No items like rice, birdseed, or confetti are allowed. No balloons are allowed on the property and no pyrotechnics are allowed either.

There are several hotel options near the Loveland Living Planet Aquarium including a Springhill Suites, a Fairfield Inn, and a Quality Inn.
