This historic mansion, completed in 1901, includes beautifully maintained finishings sourced both locally and internationally.
McCune Mansion is located next to the Capitol Building in the heart of Salt Lake City.
This centrally located venue offers easy access to all downtown Salt Lake City offers: the temple grounds, Memory Grove, Capitol Building, Red Butte Gardens and the Natural History Museum (to name a few). If guests are looking to explore the surrounding mountains, Park City, Deer Valley, Brighton, Solitude, Alta and Snowbird are all just a short drive.
McCune Mansion offers several packages to accommodate celebrations of all sizes.
> Rental of the entire mansion, for both a ceremony and a reception, is $5,000. Tables and chairs are complementary, and valet parking for up to 200 guests is offered.
> Weddings taking place Monday through Thursday with under 100 guests can rent a portion of the mansion.
> The first floor and garden area each cost $1,500.
> The third floor is $2,500.
> These rental prices include the ceremony, reception, and use of McCune Mansion’s tables and chairs.
McCune Mansion hosts weddings and events year-round with the large home serving as an elegant indoor venue and the surround grounds offering space for outdoor celebrations.
> The entire mansion must be rented for a weekend event with over 100 guests.
> If less than 100 guests, couples can choose to rent the gardens, first floor or third floor.
> The entire mansion can hold 250 guests with additional outdoor space allowing for 350 guests.
> The first floor and garden can accommodate 99 guests.
> The third floor can also accommodate 99 guests.
Weddings per Day
McCune Mansion hosts one wedding per day.
Time and Noise Restrictions
Events must end by 11 p.m.
McCune Mansion offers valet parking, and the venue is wheelchair accessible.
Pets are allowed for the ceremony but must be taken off-property for the reception.
Wedding Catering and Lodging
McCune Mansion takes care of all catering in-house, and while they do not provide on-site lodging, the experienced staff can recommend great nearby accommodations.
> McCune Mansion manages all catering, including options for passed appetizers, stations, buffets and plated dinners.
> McCune Mansion also manages all bartending, although couples can choose to purchase alcohol through McCune or elsewhere.
> McCune Mansion does not provide wedding cakes, so couples may hire an outside vendor (as long as it is commercially made).
> No additional outside vendors are allowed.
