Park City Mountain Resort Wedding Info & Cost

April 3, 2023

A wedding at Park City Mountain Resort is an event that will define the term “alpine chic.” Surrounded by stunning mountain vistas this is a beautiful place to say “I do” with all of the charm that Utah’s great outdoors has to offer.

Here’s what you need to know to start planning your wedding at Park City Moutain Resort.

Park City Mountain Resort Wedding Info

Park City Mountain Resort (PCMR) offers a variety of ceremony and reception options from a luxurious lodge at the apex of the mountain, to more rustic, though no less lovely, settings elsewhere on the slopes.

The best months to host a wedding at Park City Mountain Moutain Resort are June through September, though there is some availability during winter months at Lookout Cabin and Red Pine Lodge.

Wedding Ceremony Sites

The Legacy Lodge venue is located at the top of the resort and features a beautiful meadow overlooking multiple ski runs surrounded by Aspen trees. After the ceremony, the couple and guests can choose to take the alpine slide to head to the reception.

Lookout Cabin, the smallest of the venues, offers a 360-degree view of the Wasatch Mountains and is only available from June through September.

Red Pine Lodge is the highest up of the venues and is only accessible by gondola. It has a beautiful lawn in front as well as views of the mountains and nearby ski runs.

Wedding Reception Site

Legacy Lodge is located at the base of the mountain (that’s why you need to take the slide down) and is a charming space with exposed wood, floor-to-ceiling windows, a large rustic fireplace, and a large outdoor deck. If you are planning on having dancing at your wedding this is the PCMR venue for you.

Lookout Cabin is a more intimate space, with a large exhibition kitchen taking up part of the indoor space. The deck outside is simply breathtaking with knotty pine railings.

Red Pine Lodge has two floors of room for your reception, as well as ample outdoor space for socializing or even lawn games.

Bridal Suite/ Getting Ready Rooms

There is a room for couples to dress before their event. Couples also may choose to get a room at the resort for their preparations.

Other unique amenities

This is the only Utah venue where you can say your vows and then hop on an alpine slide and race your new spouse to the reception. Getting to the wedding is just as fun, as all three ceremony sites are only accessible by gondola or ski lift. The alpine, ski resort vibe is imbued in every part of the experience.

What is the capacity?

The capacity varies depending on the venue.

  • Legacy Lodge: up to 250 guests
