Most recognized as an incredible winter ski destination, Powder Mountain is also an upscale and modern venue for weddings.

Far removed from most urban areas—but still close enough—Powder will feel like an extraordinary escape for you and your guests.

Powder Mountain has several spaces for your celebration, from a refined on mountain experience to cozy lodges in the nearby town Eden.

With both indoor and outdoor spaces, you’ll find something to suit your wedding’s needs no matter the season.

Wedding Ceremony Sites

Skylodge sits at the top of the Powder Mountain ski area. This recently completed (2014) lodge offers panoramic views and 5,500 square feet of indoor and outdoor venue space.

With cascading views over Eden Valley, Arbor Lodge’s open-concept 6,000 square feet provide an ideal location for larger receptions. The Arbor Lodge also includes two scenic outdoor patios and a full-service bar.

The centrally-located Valley Lodge looks over the Ogden Valley and provides free-flowing event space with floor to ceiling windows, and even spa treatment rooms.

A newer addition to Powder Mountain, Bower Lodge features wrap-around patios and an open dining and event space.


Powder Mountain is located outside of Eden, Utah. It is 55 miles (about 75 minutes) from the Salt Lake City International Airport.

Powder Mountain is an all-inclusive resort. Summer activities include ATV adventures, mountain biking, water sports,rock climbing, hiking, golf, archery, yoga, meditation, and fitness workshops. Winter activities include heli skiing, backcountry expeditions, cross-country skiing, snowkiting, ice fishing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, ice skating, and sleigh rides.

Powder Mountain Wedding Cost 

The average cost to host a wedding ceremony and reception for 100 guests at Powder Mountain is between $6,500 – $13,000.

An all-inclusive ceremony and reception experience for 100 guests starts at $24,000.

Catering Options

Catering can arranged through Powder Mountain. They have incredible options and this makes it seamless since everything is on site. However, there are not restrictions to catering, and you may hire an outside vendor.

Alcohol must be purchased and distributed by the venue due to Utah liquor laws.
