Mapleton is about 45 minutes from Salt Lake City, roughly 12 minutes south of Provo, and just over an hour from Salt Lake City International Airport. Guests with a free afternoon have Mapleton Canyon for a hike and the artist studios in Springville a short drive away.

Catering, DJ and bar service all have to come from Quiet Meadow Farm’s approved lists. There’s no outside caterer, DJ or bartender option, so your food budget starts with the menus on that list.

I’ve shot a wedding at Quiet Meadow Farm, and what I remember is the mountains. This is a special spot right in the foothills along the Wasatch, quite a bit south of where most people picture that range. From the ceremony site, with a telephoto and a little bit of compression, it feels like the peaks are towering over you. In a way they are.
The indoor reception is in a wooden barn, cute and charming. It could lean hardcore country line dancing if you let it, and it’s just as happy to be dressed up and made real purty.
