There are 3 places to hold a ceremony. The Remote Desert Platform Site is a wood platform roughly 19 by 19 feet (the venue also lists it at 20 by 20), set on open desert about a quarter mile from the main building and out of sight of it.
Closer in, ceremonies happen on the Iron Arches Patio, 2,300 square feet of brick under 4 iron arches strung with bistro lighting, or inside the Glass Venue.
Reception Spaces at Red Earth Venue Moab
The Glass Venue is the indoor reception space and has been open since September 2022. It’s 1,800 square feet, 3 of its 4 walls about 80% glass, with accordion glass doors, a prep kitchen, running water, full power, recessed lighting and a chandelier, and a wall of handmade Moroccan clay tile.
The Iron Arches Patio takes an outdoor reception, and the two work together for a dinner that moves outside or a dance floor that moves in.
Getting Ready, Lodging & Guest Logistics
There’s parking for 50 cars on site. Arches National Park is about 10 minutes away, and Canyonlands and Dead Horse Point State Park are both close enough for a session the day after the wedding.
Nobody stays on the property, and the venue points guests to lodging in Moab instead. It’s about a 4-hour drive from Salt Lake City International Airport, and Canyonlands Regional Airport is roughly 20 minutes from downtown Moab for guests flying closer in.
The property sits in an International Dark Sky zone, and drone photography and drone shows are both permitted.
Catering & Vendors at Red Earth Venue Moab
You bring your own caterer. The Red Earth Venue doesn’t cater in-house, doesn’t set a food-and-beverage minimum, and has a prep kitchen on site for whoever you hire. There’s a preferred vendor list and nothing on it is required, so the rest of your team is your call.
Tables, chairs, ceremony benches, cocktail tables, sofas and lounge furniture come with the rental, and setup and takedown are included. Linens, tents, generators and portable toilets aren’t listed as included, so budget for those as outside rentals and confirm with the venue.
Alcohol is client-supplied and has to be served by a licensed, insured bar service, with pours ending at least 30 minutes before the rental period does.

A Photographer’s Take on Red Earth Venue Moab
I love this place. It’s run by a former wedding and portrait photographer, and it shows, because she’s thought of every detail. It’s simple, and the simplicity is what makes it elegant. Modern west, rooted in the desert, clean lines.
There are a couple of spots about a 1-minute drive from the venue that are more or less a local secret, and you can get out to one, shoot, and be back with your party before anybody has noticed you were gone. That’s rare. At most places, leaving the reception for pictures costs you half an hour of your own party.
The real argument for Moab, though, is the parks. A wedding here works because the day after works. You aren’t cramming a national park session into the wedding day itself and hoping the light holds; you go out the next morning with the whole day in front of you, and that’s the trip people remember.
