This ski engagement session at Snowbird Mountain Resort was all about discovering powder and photographing that deep connection, even beneath lots of layers.
About This Engagement Session at Snowbird
Lauren and Tyler are super adventurous, and when they described their relationship to me I realized that at its core, it was centered around being in the outdoors together. Both are from the East coast, so naturally they fell in love with the powder skiing and mountains, which is where they spend most of their time during the winter.
It was a no brainer to take their engagement session to the mountain that they love so, and Snowbird made sense as one of the Best Utah Mountain Resort Venues. The hearty laughs are so authentic, and this sort of setting really makes an engagement session so fun.
This day was filled with everything from white-out conditions in Mineral Basin to hounding out powder under Gad 2. We made the most of it all, though. One of the main objectives, as asked by these two, was to get a photo of Tyler hitting the pow really hard (white room status). Most of it was munched up by the time we got on the hill, but persistence paid off, and you’ll see that we nailed it!
No doubt, we stopped for a brewski on the Tram Deck and finished the day with apres-ski on their tailgate.
