Ceremony Sites at Soldier Hollow
The main lawn faces the Heber Valley and Deer Creek Reservoir, and it is at its best when the leaves turn in late summer and early fall. The lodge patio looks over the same ground and works as a second outdoor option, and inside the Day Lodge there’s a stone fireplace set between floor-to-ceiling windows for weather or a smaller group.
Reception Spaces at Soldier Hollow
The Day Lodge’s central room is open enough for tables, chairs and a dance floor, with a patio wrapping the building for cocktails and sunset. The Legacy Event Space holds up to 200 and has AV equipment built in. Both spaces rent as a full day, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Getting Ready, Lodging & Guest Logistics
There are dressing rooms on site for the wedding party. Soldier Hollow has no lodging of its own, but the Heber Senator Bed & Breakfast, a Holiday Inn and the Swiss Alps Inn all sit within about 10 minutes, and Sundance Mountain Resort is an option nearby in Provo Canyon.
Soldier Hollow will also host 6 events at the 2034 Winter Olympics, including biathlon, cross-country skiing and Nordic combined, so if you’re looking at a date that far out, ask how the schedule affects bookings.
