When love and adventure conjoin, engagement photos on skis can capture your lively, outdoorsy personalities. Solitude Mountain Resort, a personal favorite, was the perfect mountain backdrop for this awesome couple’s engagement session.
Justine & Eric spend as much time together as possible skiing and enjoying the outdoors, so action shots to document their real-life love was our mission. In fact, Justine knew that Eric was the one because he was the only person amongst her friends who waited for her as she was learning to ski during her first season after moving from Louisiana to Park City. Eric, you’re a smart man!
Their relationship flourished in the mountains. They also mountain bike all summer long, and during one such ride last summer, Eric proposed to Justine. What’s more, their wedding will be held at the Church of Dirt on Guardsman Pass, and their recessional will involve the couple taking their bikes down the trail!
Our shoot involved playfully carving on the snow, and I even fit in a few artistic photos at Solitude’s Roundhouse during lunchtime. Of course, we had to finish at everyone’s favorite apres-ski watering hold, The Thirsty Squirrel. You’ll see, it even got a little cheesy while we were there.
Be sure to see the first part of the session, Ski Resort Engagement Session.
Special thanks to Ski Utah for providing ski passes for the shoot.
