There are still reminders of the property’s past though, with functioning stables on the grounds, a large garden, and a petting zoo.
The best months to host a wedding at Sorrel River Ranch are April through October.
Wedding Ceremony Sites
There are several options for ceremonies at Sorrel River Ranch, but the most stunning is on the Events Lawn on the banks of the Colorado River. Here you say your vows in the shadow of towering red rock cliffs while your guests look on from chairs set up on the lawn. The deck is another riverside ceremony option with the same sweeping views, but sturdier ground.
You could also choose to wed in the covered Fisher Towers Pavillion, which overlooks the red rock and the fields of the expansive garden at the ranch.
Wedding Reception Site
You have multiple event spaces to choose from at Sorrel River Ranch.
- Homestead Garden is an expansive outdoor space with beautiful views of the mountains, a pergola covered with vines, a large fire pit, and a private bar. Your reception also could spread out onto the large events lawn as well.
- The Patio Deck is a large space on the banks of the Colorado River which is perfect for an al fresco dinner.
- The Fisher Towers Pavilion is a covered space with more than 4,000 square feet of space so you will have plenty of room for cocktails, dining, and dancing.
- The Titan Tower Room is a beautiful space with 19-foot-high ceilings, large panoramic windows, and a private balcony overlooking the river.

There are rooms for the wedding party to prepare, but all events at Sorrel River Ranch require booking at least ten guest rooms on the property, so couples may choose to get a room for their preparations.
