The St. Regis Deer Valley delivers mountain polish with a pulse. It’s refined, glamorous and impeccably run, with an energy that leans celebratory rather than stuffy. Ceremonies look out over the ridge lines of the Wasatch Back, and what comes after runs on good food, big ballrooms and an après-ski habit that carries straight into a late night.
It takes a 200-guest wedding and it takes a dinner for a dozen in a wine cellar, on a property where everyone can sleep upstairs from the party.

Ceremony Sites at St. Regis Deer Valley
Most ceremonies happen on the Grand Lawn, an outdoor space looking out at the ridge lines of the Wasatch Back, or on the Astor Terrace, a 4,000-square-foot deck that can be enclosed under a clear tent so it still plays like an outdoor dinner party when the weather turns.

Ceremony listings have also included the Arbor Terrace, a stone-patio space; confirm with the venue whether that’s still offered as a space separate from the Astor Terrace or is an older name for the same one.
Reception Spaces at St. Regis Deer Valley
There are 14 event spaces at The St. Regis Deer Valley, 18,829 square feet in total.
The Astor Ballroom seats up to 230 for a banquet and divides into two rooms, Astor Ballroom I and II, for a smaller party. The Astor Terrace seats up to 250 outdoors and the Grand Lawn holds up to 200. At the other end, the Wine Vault seats 50, which reads more like a private dinner party than a ballroom reception.
More than one wedding can take place at the hotel on the same day; the property is large enough to keep them separate. Outdoor music has to end at 11 p.m., though indoor events can continue after that.
Getting Ready, Lodging & Guest Logistics
There are 181 rooms and suites on site, with check-in at 4:00 p.m. and check-out at 11:00 a.m., so your party can get ready, celebrate and go to bed without leaving the property.

A one-bedroom bridal suite comes with the wedding and is ready by 4 p.m. There’s also a pool and hot tub area, a full-service spa, a Topgolf Swing Suite, and daily champagne sabering at 5:30 p.m.
Guest rooms take up to two pets each, 50 pounds apiece, for a non-refundable pet fee per stay. That’s the hotel’s room policy rather than a wedding one, so if you want your dog in the ceremony, confirm it with the venue.
Catering & Vendors at St. Regis Deer Valley
Catering and alcohol are both in-house, cooked and poured by the hotel’s own team, with menus built per wedding — sample dishes have included passed appetizers plus entrees like bison and grilled shrimp, and a tasting menu for four comes before the event.

For a rehearsal dinner or a welcome party you have the resort’s own restaurants to work with: RIME, Brasserie 7452, La Stellina, The St. Regis Bar and The St. Regis Wine Vault, plus a 10,000-bottle wine cellar and a 12-seat Chef’s Table at RIME.
St. Regis Deer Valley Wedding Cost
The St. Regis Deer Valley doesn’t publish wedding pricing.
The most recent figures put dinner at $225 to $325 per person for passed appetizers and a three-course plated meal, brunch at $85 to $160 per person, and bar packages at $95 to $135 per person, all before a 26% service charge. Those numbers are a year old, so treat them as a planning range rather than a quote.
Food and beverage minimums start around $4,000 per event and climb with the season, the day and the space. The Wine Vault’s minimum is $4,000. The full Astor Ballroom’s is $60,000.
A site fee sits on top of the food and beverage minimum. The venue doesn’t publish one, and the figures in circulation land between $8,000 and $10,000, so ask The St. Regis Deer Valley for the current number before you build a budget around either end of that.
A basic wedding package, covering the ceremony site, chairs, a sound system, tables, linens and a dance floor, was last published starting at $5,500, in 2023.
Self parking and valet both run $65 per day for guests staying at the hotel.
Guest rooms take up to two pets each, 50 pounds apiece, for a $150 non-refundable pet fee per stay.
A Photographer’s Take on St. Regis Deer Valley
Much like Deer Valley as a whole, the St. Regis is a five-star experience, and being pampered starts to feel like a natural part of your existence there. If that’s the feeling you want around your wedding, this is where you get it.

There are a lot of good spots here. What I like more is the range: it handles a wedding of 200-plus people, and it handles a dinner party for a few of you in a wine cellar, and neither one is borrowing a space built for the other.
Photographically, this place runs on architecture. Some of the epic mountain views you can get elsewhere aren’t easily reachable from the property, so the building does more of the work than the landscape does. If mountaintop pictures in your wedding attire matter to you, book a separate session for those rather than counting on the wedding day to produce them.

How many guests can St. Regis Deer Valley hold?
The Astor Ballroom seats 230 indoors. Outside, the Astor Terrace takes 250 for a seated dinner or 350 standing at a cocktail reception. For something small, the Wine Vault seats 50.
Can you bring a dog to a St. Regis Deer Valley wedding?
Guest rooms allow two pets at 50 pounds each, for a non-refundable fee per stay. That covers the room, not the ceremony, so ask the venue directly if you want your dog standing up with you.
Is St. Regis Deer Valley ADA accessible?
Yes, it’s fully ADA-accessible. The property is built into a hillside with a private funicular reaching the top of the slopes, so confirm accessible routes to the specific ceremony and reception spaces you’re considering.
Does St. Regis Deer Valley have an in-house wedding coordinator, or do you need your own planner?
Onsite event planners from the Conference Services team come with the venue and coordinate your wedding details there. That job isn’t the same as a planner who handles design and vendors in the months beforehand. If you want that, hire it separately.
Do you have to use St. Regis Deer Valley’s caterer?
Yes. Food and alcohol are both handled in-house by the hotel’s culinary team, and no option to bring your own is published.
