Thanksgiving Point is known for its gardens. Every year it hosts numerous garden festivals and guests flock to it to see the thousands of blooms. Your wedding can be in the heart of this beauty in the garden of your choosing. 

The best months to host a wedding at Thanksgiving Point are April through September. 

Wedding Ceremony Sites

There are endless possibilities for ceremony locations at Thanksgiving Point. These are some of the most popular, though the venue may be able to accommodate you if you have a certain spot in mind not traditionally used for weddings. 

Outdoor

  • The Loggia is the most popular venue on the grounds. This outdoor space has classic Greek columns and arches and a central water feature. It is surrounded by sculpted topiaries and lush trees. 
  • Italian Gardens is a grand space where weddings are held at the foot of a massive staircase and in front of a large fountain surrounded by trees and other greenery. 
  • Hidden Falls is a smaller venue, featuring a small waterfall and pergola where you can hold your ceremony. 
  • The Rose Arbor is chock full of roses. They are on every side of the venue and all over the central arbor where you will say your vows. 

Indoor

  • The Garden Room is an elegant ballroom with beautiful carpets, and large windows overlooking the gardens. 
  • The Rose Room is a smaller space but no less charming with gilt wallpaper and hanging chandeliers. 

Wedding Reception Site

Receptions are held in all of the venue sites, and staff can transition the spaces from ceremony to reception in between. For the outdoor spaces, tents can be set up to cover the dining areas and dance floors can be laid out in the larger areas. 

Bridal Suite/ Getting Ready Rooms

There are several areas for wedding parties to prepare depending on the space being used. All are well appointed with plenty of space available.

Thanksgiving Point is a photographer’s dream. There are so many places to take absolutely amazing photos including lush gardens, the world’s largest man-made waterfall, fields, balconies, ponds, and more. You will have absolutely stunning photos.

What is the capacity?

Capacity at Thanksgiving Point ranges from 50 to more than 300 guests depending on the location chosen and the type of ceremony and reception. There is a minimum of 50 guests. 

Where is the location?

Thanksgiving Point is located in Lehi, midway between Salt Lake City and Provo. It is right off I-15 and is 30 minutes from Salt Lake International Airport. 

How many weddings are hosted on-site each day?

Multiple weddings are held on-site each day, but the gardens are far enough apart you are not likely to see other celebrations. 

Are there any time or noise restrictions?

Weddings must end at 10 PM and the venue must be cleared by 11 PM. 

Is this venue ADA-accessible?

Yes, it is ADA-accessible. 

What is the pet policy?

Pets are allowed with the express permission of the venue. 

Thanksgiving Point Wedding Cost

Venue rental fees start at $6,200 and go up to $11,500 depending on the venue chosen. All rental fees include tables and chairs, tents if needed in certain areas, a catering credit, and a sparkler send-off at the end of the event. 

Food and beverage are an additional cost and vary from $15 to $60 per guest. 

Wedding Catering and Lodging 

What are the catering options?

All weddings must use Thanksgiving Point as their caterer. They have an exhaustive menu of options that include passed appetizers, buffets, carving stations, and action stations. You could opt for fondue or a liege waffle stand if you so desired. 

No alcohol is allowed at Thanksgiving Point. 

What are the lodging (on-site or nearby) options?

There are multiple lodging options close to Thanksgiving Point including Tru by Hilton, Hilton Garden Inn, and Springhill Suites. 

Is there an in-house wedding planner or day-of coordinator?

A venue coordinator will be assigned to help you with venue and catering needs. 

What are some nearby attractions?
