Thanksgiving Point is a garden and museum campus in Lehi, and the ground you’d get married on is Ashton Gardens: 50 acres of grand lawns and 17 themed spaces. It’s a landscape somebody planted and keeps rather than a view somebody found, and that’s the reason to come here.
It runs seven wedding spaces across three campuses, so the decision here isn’t really the venue, it’s which part of it you book. You can get married under a gazebo that flows into a 500-person standing reception, under an arbor beside a waterfall, or indoors in a room that seats 220 at rounds of 10.
Catering, coordination, florals and décor all come from in-house teams, which is a lot less to assemble yourself than a venue that hands you a vendor list.

Pets — Pets aren’t allowed inside Thanksgiving Point’s venues without the venue’s approval, and trained service animals are.
Curfew — A Thanksgiving Point wedding is expected to end by 10 p.m. with the space cleared by 11 p.m., a figure not on their current wedding materials.
Thanksgiving Point Wedding Info
Seven wedding spaces are spread across three connected properties: the Water Tower Campus, the Gardens Campus and the Thanksgiving Point Golf Course. They have very little in common with each other, so a wedding here can mean 80 people under an arbor or 500 people on a lawn, and the two days barely resemble one another.
More than one wedding can be on the calendar the same day, though the gardens are spread out enough that guests aren’t likely to run into another celebration.
Ceremony Sites at Thanksgiving Point
Three outdoor spaces host ceremonies. The Loggia holds 120 for a gazebo ceremony and flows into a standing reception for up to 500. Hidden Falls seats 80 under a grapevine arbor and flows to a reception for 200. The Rose Arbor is the third, with no published capacity.
Thanksgiving Point has also named an Italian Garden ceremony space within Ashton Gardens; it’s not part of the current wedding-space list, so confirm with the venue whether it’s still bookable.
Ashton Gardens covers about 50 acres with 17 themed spaces, and the waterfall there has been the property’s signature backdrop for years. It’s currently turned off under the Lehi Water Conservation Management Plan, so ask where it stands before you plan photographs around it.
Reception Spaces at Thanksgiving Point
Four indoor rooms are on the current wedding list. The Garden Room is the biggest, seating 220 at rounds of 10 or 300 theater-style. The Great Room, out on the golf course, seats 168 at rounds of 8. The Velvet Room seats 56. The Ashton Gardens Visitor Center is the fourth, with no published capacity.
Thanksgiving Point has also listed a Rose Room among its indoor spaces, seating up to 88 at rounds of 8; it’s not part of the current wedding-space list, so confirm with the venue whether it’s still available for a reception.
Six of the wedding and event spaces were remodelled and reopened in June 2024, Hidden Falls and the Loggia among them, so photos of the rooms taken before that may not match what you’ll walk into.
Getting Ready, Lodging & Guest Logistics
Thanksgiving Point says there are several areas for wedding parties to get ready, one for each space you might book, all described as well appointed with plenty of room to spare. There’s no lodging on site. The Courtyard by Marriott sits on the Thanksgiving Point property, and the hotels the venue has pointed couples to include Tru by Hilton, Hilton Garden Inn and SpringHill Suites.
Wheelchairs and electric scooters can be reserved online in advance for Ashton Gardens or rented in person if any are left, and wheelchairs and strollers are available at each of the five Discovery Centers. Drones aren’t allowed on the property at any time. Smoking is prohibited within 25 feet of any building and anywhere inside Ashton Gardens.
Catering & Vendors at Thanksgiving Point
Catering comes from Thanksgiving Point’s own culinary team, and outside food and beverage isn’t permitted on the property. Packages cover linens, sound systems, serving tables, cake cutting and cleanup. Floral design and site décor are offered in house as well.
Two details worth raising early. Every beverage on the 2026 reception menu is non-alcoholic, and no wine, beer or spirits package appears anywhere in it, so ask the events team directly what bar service is possible. And the general catering menu caps food service at 2 hours unless something else is agreed, which shapes how you time dinner.
Dietary accommodations listed are gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan, dairy-free and nut-free.
Thanksgiving Point Wedding Cost
Thanksgiving Point doesn’t currently publish a wedding rental fee. The last figure available, from 2023, put the space between $6,200 and $11,500 depending on which one you book, and we’re working on getting couples a current number.
That fee has included tables and chairs, tents where a space needs them, a catering credit and a sparkler send-off at the end of the night. Here Comes The Guide puts a full wedding at $9,500 to $19,500, but that’s their own calculated estimate rather than a number from the venue.
Food is billed on top of the space, and the venue publishes those numbers in full. Reception buffets run $12 to $25 per person with a 50-guest minimum.
Plated dinners run $36 for chicken up to $50 for beef and surf-and-turf, with a 15-guest minimum, and dinner buffets run $32 to $44 with a 20-guest minimum. Passed appetizers are $9 to $10 per person and stationed versions $15 to $17, with a passer fee of $125 per 50 guests and a two-selection minimum.
Add-ons carry their own fees. Specialty beverage bars run $5 to $7 per person with a bartender fee of $100 per 100 guests, a 50-guest minimum and up to 2 hours of service, then $2 per person for each additional hour.
Food stations are $14 per person with a $100 attendant fee per 100 guests, late-night bites run $10 to $18 per person, and artisan displays are priced per 100 guests, from $600 for a vegetable crudité to $1,000 for iced shrimp.
Offering guests more than one entrée charges the highest-priced entrée for everyone plus $8 per guest for each additional choice, up to three.
Portrait sessions in the gardens carry their own fee. An Ashton Gardens photo pass is $100 for up to 2 hours, and a Hidden Falls pass is $50.
Every catering price carries an additional 20.5% service charge and sales tax.
What to Know Before You Book Thanksgiving Point
The photography policy is more specific here than at most venues, and it’s worth reading before the day. Portrait sessions in Ashton Gardens run on a paid pass, and Hidden Falls has one of its own, both reserved in advance with no walk-ups at the gardens. Bridal sessions go through the events team rather than the ticket page.
Whether any of that applies on a day the venue is already booked for a wedding isn’t spelled out, so ask when the contract is signed. Outfit changes aren’t permitted during a session, nobody may climb rocks or water features or step into the plant beds, and drones are out everywhere on the property.
