We asked the couple to share some of their memories from their beautiful wedding day.

Why did you decide to get married at  Blue Sky Ranch?

Park City had a special place in our hearts and played a key part in our relationship. It was where we had our first vacation together and where we got engaged. We have so many great memories there that we wanted to share the city with our friends and family. And Blue Sky offers some of the best views and amenities, we knew it couldn’t be beaten.

What was your favorite moment of your Blue Sky Ranch Wedding?

There were honestly too many to count, but if we HAD to choose… It was definitely stealing a moment just the two of us with the High West Whiskey tasting and getting an additional first dance with our ceremony/cocktail hour band ‘The Proper Way’.

Describe the overall mood or theme (ex: classic, color palette, modern, boho)

Mountain chic.

What were the highlights of your ceremony?

Our officiants and the full belly laughter they elicited from our attendees.  And obviously saying ‘I do’!

What were the highlights of your reception?

All of our friends and family letting loose and releasing all their pent-up dance moves.

Were any ethnic, religious, cultural, or family traditions included in your day?

No.

Any planning or wedding-day advice for future couples?

Take a second to breathe and soak it all in. Look around at all the people who choose to support you and your love, it is the only time they will all be in the same place at the same time for the same reason, and it’s truly magical. And we highly encourage adding the extra hour, doing the after-party, or making it a multi-day affair, it all goes by too fast.

How was the overall experience of your planning? Also, the highs and lows?

Honestly, it was a blast.  We had a phenomenal planner, who kept us on schedule and organized, and would highly recommend it if you can swing it in your budget.

Truthfully we made a lot of date nights out of planning and much wine was consumed in the process. And the end product was truly the creation of our ideas brought to life by all our vendors and documented forever by Austen’s beautiful work.

Read Their 5-Star Wedding Photography Review:

“Austen is fantastic to work with! Some of the best money we spent on our wedding. Most importantly, the photos from our wedding are absolutely gorgeous. The lighting is amazing and the candid photos of our friends and family are perfect. He was also extremely receptive to any of our suggestions/comments and very easy to get ahold of with questions and was quick with his responses. We were extremely happy with Austen as our photographer and would 100% recommend him.” -Kyle

Conclusion:

Kyle and Lauren’s wedding at Blue Sky Ranch in Park City was a beautiful celebration of their love surrounded by breathtaking mountain views. The day was highlighted by the laughter elicited by their officiants and the joy of saying “I do.” The reception was a blast with friends and family dancing the night away. The joy and beauty of their day, with the fall foliage, loved ones, and the couple’s happiness, shined through the entire event.
