May 5, 2023

Wadley Farms is an amazing wedding venue in Lindon, Utah with multiple options for your ceremony and reception. You can literally marry in a castle if you like, or have your celebration in an elegant but rustic barn. All facilities are surrounded by perfectly manicured grounds that include water features, an orchard, and a vineyard.

Here are some basics to help you start planning your wedding at Wadley Farms.

Wadley Farms Wedding Info

Wadley Farms is more than 150 years old and at one time was a fully functioning farm. Now though, it is anything but your typical barnyard. Yes, there is a barn, crops growing on the property, and animals wandering the grounds, but it also features a castle and classically sculpted European gardens. This venue offers an elegant setting for weddings of any size in truly splendid surroundings.

The best months to host a wedding at Wadley Farms are April through September.

Wedding Ceremony Sites

There are three primary spaces at Wadley Farms where ceremonies are held.

The Castle is something out of a fairy tale. The exterior features stone walls, several turrets, and wrought iron balconies. Inside there are high ceilings, dark wood accents, massive fireplaces, and charming decor touches like coats of arms on the walls.

  • Outdoor: The castle is on the edge of the vineyards where couples may choose to wed, with a backdrop of Mount Timpanogos and the castle building behind them.
  • Indoor: Ceremonies can be held in front of the massive 38-foot fireplace, and the couple can make their entrances down one of two grand staircases.

The Railroad Building is a transplanted train depot now replete with crystal chandeliers, stained glass windows, exposed woodwork, and a large fireplace. It also features a patio and garden that are accessible in the summer months.

  • Outdoor: In summer months couples can wed in the garden just outside the building with hundred-year-old trees surrounding you.
  • Indoor: Ceremonies are more intimate and take place in front of the fireplace with the arching walls around you.

The Barn has vaulted ceilings, a wrap-around balcony, slate floors, dark wood accents, and is surrounded by ivy-covered walls and lush gardens that can be accessed by wedding parties in the summer months.

  • Outdoor: Outdoor weddings take place in the garden under a gazebo surrounded by trees and flowers.
  • Indoor: Weddings can take place in front of one of two fireplaces or at the foot of the grand staircase.

Wedding Reception Site

All three buildings can also host receptions. In the summer months when both indoor and outdoor spaces are accessible, the grounds have a lovely garden party feel to them, coupled with the elegant interiors to heighten the effect. During the winter months, when events are all indoors, the spaces feel cozy and luxurious.

All three spaces can accommodate buffet, seated meals, and open-house receptions. Alcohol is not allowed at either the Barn or Railroad Building.

Bridal Suite/ Getting Ready Rooms

All three buildings at Wadley Farms have spaces for couples to prepare for their vows. In the Castle, one of the rooms comes with a balcony overlooking the vineyards. Couples can access these spaces at 10 am or 2 pm depending on the length of their rental.

Other unique amenities

But, while there is farming happening on the grounds, don’t feel like you have to wear overalls to your wedding. The venues are nothing but elegant.
