Walker Farms is a white barn at the base of Mount Timpanogos in Lindon, with a garden pavilion under bistro lights and gold chandeliers and the whole property to yourself from 10 a.m. to a hard 10 p.m. stop.
The Walker family homesteaded this ground in the early 1900s and raised 14 children in the farmhouse. Jill and Mike Jorgensen bought the property in 2019, remodelled the farmhouse into a home-goods shop and built out the rest of it for weddings.
Garden boxes and a couple of vintage tractors sit around the grounds, and there are still alpacas, goats and ponies on the place, so the farm feel carries past the barn walls even though the property is kept manicured rather than rough.

Ceremony Sites at Walker Farms
Ceremonies happen outside, in the pavilion or the gardens. The pavilion is strung with bistro lights and hung with gold chandeliers, and there’s a large gas fire pit for cooler evenings.
Outdoor seating is 150 white folding chairs with padded seats plus 24 wooden benches. The rate covers the whole property, and no separate ceremony fee appears on the card.
Setup and takedown of tables and chairs is included, up to three full configurations, so resetting a space between the ceremony and dinner doesn’t cost extra.
Reception Spaces at Walker Farms
The barn is white throughout and takes a lot of daylight. Inside there are 24 wood farm tables, 3 adjustable bistro tables, 150 bentwood chairs, 6 vintage padded benches and 5 couches. Outside there are 12 Oktoberfest-style rectangle tables and 18 round tables at 60 inches.
A seated dinner tops out at 150. The 400 figure is for an open-house reception, where guests come and go and most of them are standing.
A Yamaha grand player piano sits in the barn, and the rental includes a 60-inch TV, a surround-sound system and microphones. Easels and chalkboards are included as well, for a seating chart, a welcome sign or a menu board.
Getting Ready, Lodging & Guest Logistics
The bridal suite has a balcony and a private restroom, and the groom’s dressing room has a TV and its own restroom. Both are upstairs, which is the one part of the property Walker Farms flags as outside its ADA-compliant layout. If anyone in your party needs step-free access to a getting-ready room, raise it early.
The booking is exclusive: one event, the entire property, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Walker Farms has hosted one wedding a day and hasn’t taken Sunday bookings. Confirm both when you check dates.
There’s no lodging on site. Lindon has hotels nearby, including the Hyatt House and the Fairfield Inn.
Walker Farms is close to the Dry Creek trailhead and the Murdock Canal trailhead, both easy walks if guests want to stretch their legs before or after the event, and the on-site market selling home goods is worth a stop too.
Catering & Vendors at Walker Farms
Bring your own caterer, florist, baker or anyone else. Walker Farms charges no fee for outside vendors and doesn’t require a preferred list, and it says friends and family are welcome to provide services too.
The warming kitchen is stocked with drink dispensers, serving platters, charcuterie boards and cake stands for whoever is cooking.
Alcohol and smoking aren’t permitted anywhere on the property, indoors or out. Tell your caterer before they build a beverage plan.
Walker Farms Wedding Cost
Walker Farms publishes a full rate card, and one rate covers the whole property for the day.
Peak season is May through October: $6,500 Monday through Wednesday, $7,500 on a Thursday, $8,500 on a Friday or Saturday. Off season is November through April: $5,500 Monday through Wednesday, $6,000 on a Thursday, $6,500 on a Friday or Saturday. Sunday isn’t priced.
Rates have gone up. A peak-season Friday or Saturday was around $6,500 a few years ago and is $8,500 now, so an older figure for Walker Farms will come in low.
What the rate buys besides the space: setup and takedown of tables and chairs in up to three configurations, the piano, the AV, the fire pit, the warming kitchen and its serving equipment, a hostess on site for the whole event, and a 60-minute planning meeting.
Using your own vendors costs nothing extra. Booked couples also get 2 hours in the barn and gardens for bridal or engagement photos on a separate date.
If your date falls inside 60 days, Walker Farms asks you to contact them directly about availability and last-minute pricing. No deposit, payment schedule or cancellation term is published, so ask for the contract terms when you inquire.
What to Know Before You Book Walker Farms
Alcohol isn’t permitted anywhere on the property, indoors or out. For some couples that decides it, and for others it changes nothing, but it isn’t something to find out late.
The 10 p.m. stop includes cleanup. Vendors have to be packed out inside your window rather than starting to strike at 10, so the dancing ends before the number on the contract. Build the timeline backwards from it.
The two capacity figures describe two different weddings. 150 is a sit-down dinner. 400 is an open house where people come and go and most of them are standing. If you want everyone seated for a meal, 150 is the number that matters.
A hostess on site and one 60-minute meeting is not the same job as a coordinator, and Walker Farms doesn’t describe it as one. Somebody still has to build the timeline and hold vendors to it, and here that person is yours to hire.
One thing that’s easy to miss in the inclusions list: booking the venue comes with 2 hours in the barn and gardens on another day for bridals or engagements. It’s worth putting on the calendar early, while the light and the flowers are still your choice.
