Wasatch Mountain Lodge Wedding Info & Cost

April 3, 2023

Wasatch Mountain Lodge is a rustic, historic venue in Brighton, Utah that is perfect for small weddings where nature is the focus. The more than 100-year-old building is surrounded by pines even older than it is and is shaded by the towering granite of Big Cottonwood Canyon. It is a magical place where it seems that time has stopped.

Here’s what you need to know about planning a wedding at Wasatch Mountain Lodge.

Wasatch Mountain Lodge Wedding Info

Wasatch Mountain Lodge began as a clubhouse for those who enjoyed recreating in the Wasatch National Forest. It is now a historic site, and 100% of the rental fees go to maintaining the building and its history.

The best months to host a wedding at Wasatch Mountain Lodge are June through October.

Wedding Ceremony Sites

The best ceremony site at Wasatch Mountain Lodge is just outside the building on the patio. Here you are surrounded by pine trees and aspens and close to Big Cottonwood Creek.

If the weather is not cooperating, or you just prefer to be indoors, there is a large fireplace flanked by stairways where you could hold your ceremony.

Wedding Reception Site

Wasatch Moutain Lodge has a great room with knotty pine walls and antique fixtures, along with a large patio area with grills and fire pits. While it isn’t an ideal space for setting up a dance floor a flowing reception or seated dinner would be lovely.

Bridal Suite/ Getting Ready Rooms

For this venue, it is best for the couple to prepare off-site.

Other unique amenities

This venue is a dream for couples who value the wilderness. All of the rental funds go into conversation funds for the building and the surrounding land. Also, there are few venues with as much rustic charm as the Wasatch Mountain Lodge. You are literally getting married in a piece of Utah history.
