Shanty may mean crude shack, but there is nothing crude or shack-like about the White Shanty. The main facade features sliding barn doors filled with windows that can either be opened or closed for your event. There are also sliding doors on the side of the venue that open onto a grassy area and patio. There are plenty of plants throughout the venue to create a greenhouse feel.

Wedding Ceremony Sites
The large sliding barn doors are a perfect backdrop, whether your ceremony is inside or out. It’s just about the time of year, and where you want to place the audience. The doors can either be opened or closed. Indoor you are wed under a tall, vaulted ceiling with an industrial chic aesthetic and metal sculpture accents. Outside you stand on a gravel patio in front of a grassy area surrounded by trees and native grasses.
Wedding Reception Site
The owners of the White Shanty have worked hard to make this venue perfect for your celebration. The 3,600 square foot space is outfitted with custom tables and chairs made just for this space to give it a funky, yet elegant vibe. The large windows provide an open and airy feel whether they are open or closed.
There is ample room for a dance floor and for guests to sit and either enjoy a buffet or a plated meal. There are also spaces for food trucks and bounce houses if that’s what you want!
Bridal Suite/ Getting Ready Rooms
There is a large bridal suite with gorgeous gilt mirrors and plenty of seating as well as a groom’s room.

Couples who choose the White Shanty for their wedding have the option of creating a complimentary wedding website.

Provo can be a fun town. There are multiple museums on the grounds of Brigham Young University, and the Provo Pioneer Village is a great trip back in time.
