Why did you decide to get married at Snowbird Summit?

Our love of the mountains and snowboarding

What was your favorite moment of your Winter Wedding at Snowbird Summit?

We both agree that our favorite moment was the first look!

Describe the overall mood or theme (ex: classic, color palette, modern, boho)

The aesthetic was modern, mostly black and white with/ splashes of gold and dusty blue. Simple yet refined.

What were the highlights of your ceremony?

Austin – Hearing Angella reading her vows. Seeing her walk down the aisle to Here Comes the Sun!

Angella – Exchange of vows. Our seven nieces and nephews. And the jokes our officiant worked into the ceremony.

What were the highlights of your reception?

Austin – Our first dance! The beautiful sunset drew all of our guests outside. And my brother’s speech.

Angella – Emo hour. Our last dance. And the send-off!!!

Were any ethnic, religious, cultural, or family traditions included in your day?

Any planning or wedding-day advice for future couples?

Go with your gut. It’s your day, not anyone else’s. Do what makes you happy.

How was the overall experience of your planning? Also, the highs and lows?

We flew through the selection of our vendors so this portion of the planning process was pretty straightforward. As we started to nail down more specific details of the event it became more stressful. In general, learning what to fall on my sword for was a huge lesson learned.

The highlight was touring our venue and doing our menu tasting!

In the snowy peaks of Little Cottonwood Canyon, Utah, Austin and Angella exchanged vows in a winter wedding at Snowbird Summit that was both elegant and modern. Their love of the mountains and snowboarding made Snowbird Summit the perfect location for their special day. Their first look was a highlight for both of them, and the ceremony itself was filled with personal touches like heartfelt vows and jokes from the officiant.

The reception was just as memorable, with a beautifully choreographed first dance and an unforgettable sunset. Throughout the planning process, Austin and Angella’s biggest advice was to go with your gut and do what makes you happy.

Overall, their wedding was a magical celebration of their love and commitment to each other that will be cherished for years to come.

We'll capture honest photos and fleeting moments that bring you back to remember exactly how it felt—the joy, the jitters, the crazy party, the wild love.
