Wolf Creek Resort is out of the way, and that’s most of the appeal. It’s a golf-course wedding venue in the town of Eden, up in the Ogden Valley, where the mountains and the valley run out for miles in front of you and there’s a lot of sky overhead.
The course is semi-private, 18 holes, and has been in the ground since 1963. The wedding spaces sit right against it: a clubhouse room with roll-up doors onto a patio, a private lawn, and a second patio, all of them facing out over the fairways toward Pineview Reservoir, Snowbasin and Powder Mountain.

Wolf Creek Resort names three wedding spaces, and a ceremony can go in any of them. The Mountain View Room and Patio looks over the 18th green and the fairway with the mountains behind it, and its roll-up doors open the room onto the patio.
The Homestead Lawn is a private lawn with a large deck, facing out across the valley. The Clubhouse Patio has mountain views around it and sits among wildflowers.
All three are listed at up to 200 guests, so choosing between them is a question of setting rather than of how long your guest list runs.
Reception Spaces at Wolf Creek Resort
The same three spaces take receptions, and receptions have generally centered on the clubhouse. There’s no ballroom. Wolf Creek is a golf clubhouse with event space built around it rather than a hotel with a banquet department, which means course and mountain views out the windows rather than a purpose-built reception room.
Getting Ready, Lodging & Guest Logistics
Lodging on the property is privately owned houses and condos rather than hotel rooms. Wolf Creek Rentals handles nightly bookings and Peak 2 Peak Management handles longer stays. Neither publishes a unit count, so a room block here is a phone call rather than something you book online. Wedding guests get a 10% discount on those rentals.
Getting ready in a rented house instead of a hotel suite changes the morning. You get a kitchen and a living room instead of a hallway outside the ballroom, which usually helps the photos and complicates the timing. Wolf Creek Resort’s amenities list also names a bridal suite; ask which space that refers to when you book.
One wedding books the property per day. Ask directly whether a golf event or a second booking can land on your date, and get the answer in writing.
Catering & Vendors at Wolf Creek Resort
Wolf Creek Resort works with outside caterers from an approved list, and there’s no kitchen on site, so your food budget and your caterer’s setup both run through the caterer rather than through the resort. Links Bistro, the clubhouse restaurant, is on the property for breakfast and lunch, but it isn’t listed anywhere as a wedding caterer.
Alcohol runs the other direction. You provide it through the resort rather than shopping it around.
Decor comes with a few limits. No rice, birdseed or confetti, no open flame, and the venue signs off on what you bring. Bubbles, real flower petals and sparklers are fine.

The last published figures, from 2023, were an elopement package at $2,000 for a two-hour ceremony, June through September; a full day at $5,000 from May through October, resort use from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.; a full day at $4,000 the rest of the year for up to 100 guests; a full wedding weekend at $12,500, Friday through Sunday with a rehearsal dinner and a brunch; and a $200 bar fee on top of whichever one you book.

Two outside estimates put the number higher. Wedding Spot puts site rental at about $5,500 for the whole property, with tables, chairs, linens, setup and teardown and rehearsal time included. Here Comes The Guide, in a 2025 listing, put per-event pricing at $6,000 and up. Neither is a number from the venue itself.
Catering and alcohol sit outside all of it. Your caterer sets your food cost, since there’s no kitchen on site and no per-person food number published, and alcohol comes through the resort as its own line. Budgeting from a rental figure alone will understate what you spend. Pricing at Wolf Creek Resort comes by phone or email rather than off a rate card, so plan on asking.
What to Know Before You Book Wolf Creek Resort
Most of the wedding side of this property is outside, or opens straight onto outside. The Mountain View Room has roll-up doors onto its patio, and the Homestead Lawn and the Clubhouse Patio are exterior spaces. Wolf Creek books weddings year-round, but with that much of the footprint outdoors, ask what an off-season wedding actually looks like here: which spaces are enclosed and heated, and where 200 people go if it’s snowing.
The 10:00 p.m. curfew covers the whole event, not just the music, and it’s worth building the evening around rather than running into. Work the timeline backward from 10:00 p.m. instead of forward from the ceremony, and you protect the part of the night people remember.
This is a working golf course with a restaurant already on it, and it reads differently than a place built for weddings. The views come off a fairway and a ridge line rather than a landscaped garden, and your getting-ready room is a rented house rather than a suite down the hall. Neither of those is a drawback on its own. They’re just the things a couple booking here should picture correctly before they sign.
