Zion Red Rock Oasis is a 15-acre estate on the Virgin River, outside Zion National Park. The river runs behind the house, and the venue sets up a beach area along it for ceremonies. The other ceremony spot on the grounds is the Tree of Life Labyrinth.
There is no separate event hall. You rent the whole 14,000-square-foot property for several nights, so the wedding happens inside a stay rather than inside a booking window.

Ceremony Sites at Zion Red Rock Oasis
Two spots on the property are set up for ceremonies. The first is the Virgin River, which runs behind the house, with a beach area the venue prepares for the ceremony. Zion Red Rock describes the Virgin River as Utah’s first wild and scenic river, designated in 2009.
The second is the Tree of Life Labyrinth, laid out in the shape of a tree with the lower paths as roots and four cardinal points named Joy, Peace, God and the Universe, and Light, all leading to Love at the center.
The labyrinth is shared with four of the five Zion Red Rock properties and works first-come, first-served, so ask for it early if you want it.
Reception Spaces at Zion Red Rock Oasis
There is no named reception hall at Zion Red Rock Oasis. The 14,000-square-foot house is the venue, and where you put dinner and dancing is your call.
The kitchen area alone runs 3,000 square feet and has a grand piano in it. There’s also a 1,500-square-foot indoor soccer field with a volleyball net strung across the same room, which is the largest clear floor on the property. Day-use capacity for a ceremony, a reception, or both is 150.
Getting Ready, Lodging & Guest Logistics
Zion Red Rock Oasis sleeps up to 56 guests: nine bedrooms in the main house, plus a bunkhouse with seven divided stalls that sleeps 29 on its own. There are 33 individual beds, 12 full bathrooms and one half bath.
Two bedrooms are on the main floor, including a master with a king bed and a private bathroom, and each of the six upstairs bedrooms has its own full bathroom. That matters for getting ready, because two parties can hold separate floors without negotiating for a mirror. The bunkhouse has four changing stalls, two toilet rooms and two showers of its own.
Check-in is 5 p.m. and check-out is 10 a.m. Tables, chairs and linens for 70 guests come with the venue, so confirm what’s included before you rent anything.
Guests staying the week have a private lake with a trampoline at the water’s edge, kayaks and paddleboards, a pool with a slide, a hot tub, a sauna, a theater room and a children’s playground.
Catering & Vendors at Zion Red Rock Oasis
Zion Red Rock Oasis keeps a Platinum Vendors list of caterers, planners and other pros it recommends, and outside vendors are allowed. Three categories are the exception. Bartending, DJ and audio services, and dark-sky-compliant lighting all have to be hired from the approved list.
Any outside vendor has to be approved at least 90 days before check-in and needs a valid business license, proof of liability insurance and a signed vendor policy on file. The venue’s own advice is to get that approval before you sign contracts or pay deposits elsewhere, which is worth following.
Zion Red Rock Oasis hosts one wedding a day, so confirm with the venue that your date is yours alone.
Zion Red Rock Oasis Wedding Cost
Zion Red Rock Oasis doesn’t publish a wedding site fee or a nightly rate. The last figure we had was $2,500 a night, in 2020, and we’re working on getting couples a current one. The venue says pricing varies with the wedding date.
What it does publish is the minimum stay: 3 or 4 nights in peak season, April through October, depending on which days you check in and out, and 3 nights any time in the off-season. Budget for the whole stay rather than a single day, because that’s what you’re renting.
A 25% deposit is charged when you reserve, and the balance is due 90 days before check-in. A refundable $1,500 incidental damage reserve goes on the card at check-in and comes back within 5 to 7 business days if nothing’s damaged.
Smoking inside carries a $500 cleaning fee, skipping the checkout list can run up to $850 in extra cleaning, and a late check-out is $300. None of those are wedding line items. They’re the standard terms on any stay here, and they apply whether or not there’s a ceremony.

What to Know Before You Book Zion Red Rock Oasis
Zion Red Rock Oasis is one of five properties Zion Red Rock runs on adjoining land outside Rockville. The Villa, Luxara and Chalet have their own wedding pages, and there’s the smaller Red Rock Inn bed and breakfast. The capacities, sleeping numbers and policies above are the Oasis’s own. If you’re comparing two of them, compare the numbers separately, because they don’t carry across.
Because the estate is the venue, most of the planning is deciding which part of it your day sits in: the river beach, the labyrinth, the 3,000-square-foot kitchen, the indoor field. There’s no floor plan to work around and no room turnover to schedule.
Two things shape the evening. Lighting has to be dark-sky compliant and hired from the approved list, and event sound and lighting both stop at 10 p.m. under the property’s quiet hours. A reception that starts late loses its end, not its beginning, so build the timeline backwards from 10.
The approach is a private dirt road, and the venue is explicit that arriving without a reservation counts as trespassing. Book a walkthrough rather than driving out to look.
